Kpenoe's Paramount Chief

Typical local government in Ghana consists of a paramount chief who is a bit like the CEO of the village that is assisted by clan or "department" chiefs or elders. The paramount chief has considerable power and fills the primary executive and judicial role in the village. Kpenoe is fortunate to have a relatively young, educated, capable, trustworthy and compassionate chief. Togbe Kotoku XI has been paramount chief of Kpenoe for many years and has greatly helped the village progress with  Amenyo Foundation playing a supporting role. Since a chief is not paid, he must work additionally to earn a living. A brief resume follows:

On August 25, 2018 Togbe Kotoku XI was honored with a Doctor of Divinity Degree. Shown below is the invitation to the award ceremony and a photo of Togbe Kotoku XI (in blue) after receiving his degree.
