Amenyo Foundation Gets Ready for Next Trip to Ghana

The AMENYO FOUNDATION is pleased to announce that the 2023 trip to Ghana will be taking place this year in the late Spring.   Already the fourteen travelers are anticipating meeting with the Paramount Chief, Paramount Queen Mother and all elders of Kpenoe to renew friendships.  On the itinerary will also be visiting schools, clinics, the Cured Lepers village, and artisans in the Volta Region.

Major objectives of this year's journey will be to further the relationship between the Foundation and the Kpenoe Health Clinic, to provide reusable sanitary menstrual pads to all village students who lack such products and therefore must absent themselves from schools attendance for significant period of time, and to continue building relationship with the Chiefs, Queen Mothers and elders of the neighboring community of Takla.

A chance to visit, participate in and appreciate the rich culture of the Ewe people, will provide a backdrop to this journey of faith, discovery, and friendship.  Also planned will be opportunities to worship with the people of Evangelical Presbyterian Church, meet Amenyo scholars and graduates, and visit the tourist destinations of the outdoor markets, the rain forest, the Cape Coast Slave Castle, and Kakum National Park.
